Nafie (Delphi)
Personal Studio: Stormbound Cosplay
Noel “Nafie” McKain has been a fursuit maker since her first foray into the craft in 2018/2019 at the age of 28. She discovered suitmaking after stumbling upon a few YouTube tutorials as she was researching how to make a LiLi Stormstout cosplay — and knew without a doubt that she was watching her passion there on the screen.
Nafie has had a varied history of work experience; with varying work in fields of veterinary, end-of-life medical assistance, video game design, and more —but her longest lasting job has thus far been fursuit making.
She has spent these past 5 years developing and honing her work and is proud to pursue positions in Dealers Dens, Artist Alleys, and even to simply showcase her work to more conventions and furs who just love to cuddle giant fluffy gremlins. She’s not the greatest at keeping her social media up to date, but she certainly tries!… on occasion, anyway.
Nafie prefers complex and visually intriguing fursuits, but also admires designs that are simple but well executed. When working alongside of Colin, she prefers the fine detail work.

“Outstanding service and products at a reasonable price.”

Colin (Merlin)
Colin discovered fursuit making in school on YouTube from looking up how to make costumes at home for a halloween contest their school held in 2012. It started with a Charizard cosplay he made at the young age of 12, then branched off into other creatures as time went on. He made his first official fursuit at age 14 in 2015 for Texas Furry Fiesta, and learned more ways of making these amazing costumes from watching others closely. As time went, on his fascination grew into what now invades his life for the better. Now, at the age of 23, he’s looking forward to the next big thing — Cauldron Creatures.
Colin had had a few jobs here and there ranging from a dog groomer/bather, kitchen staff, fabric cutter, and currently a full-time vet technician. But the one that stuck the longest has been fursuit making. It’s been 10 years (and still going strong!), but he is still learning new and exciting ways on how to make these walking carpets into living, breathing cartoons.
His love for all things spooky has been a huge inspiration to make crazy designs with big teeth and crazy eyes, although the simple ones are good every once in a while. The crazier the better.
Colin prefers dark themed designs with a splash of bright colors and big teeth, but also admires the occasional cute puppy faces if need be. When working with Nafie, anything is possible — down to the finest details.
